Walked around aimlessly,wandering

Demyx played guitar very nicely. Everybody knew that.

Sora knew it better than others. He had been going to see Demyx playing for four times this week. In some weird way it relaxed him. He used to sit next to Zexion everytime Demyx played and he admired the way Zexion looked up at Demyx.

He had walked a lot also. Every day after Demyx's playing he used to go walking.
It was already winter.

The cold was blowing hard on his face and he didn't go back home until he felt he was freezing to death.

Then, there at home, was always something he didn't want to go through with.

He used to sit in the living room, listening to Roxas sleeping upstairs and the quiet whispering between Riku and Axel. He cried so often in the evening, in the dark livingroom, the clock was about to be 10 PM.

- It doesn't matter to me anymore, Riku whispered. Sora was wondering if this was the same topic he had heard Axel and Riku talk yesterday too and the day before that.

- It has to matter, it definitely was, Sora knew that when he heard Axel's voice.

- No... Axel... We broke up. That's that. You have Roxas, I have Sora... And I love Sora, you know I do.

Sora was beginning to cry.

Brought on the tears, for no reason

- I still love you... the tears warmed Sora's face.

He didn't want to hear this. He wanted to go into the kitchen and just scream at Axel. He wanted to say to him: "Stop it, just stop it, I'm tired of this. You need to stop trying to take Riku from me. And Roxas loves you. He loves you. So much. How can you just say things like that! You betrayed him. You're hurting me. And him. And Roxas. You need to stop it."

And then he thought: You know what. I'm going to do it.

He stood up and walked in the kitchen. Riku was there, Axel dangerously close to him.

- Sora! Riku exclaimed and took quick steps towards his boyfriend.

Sora took a deep breath and glanced at Axel.

- Stop it.

- What? Axel asked.

- Stop trying to take Riku away from me, Sora said his voice calm but raging inside. He grabbed Rikus hand.

Axel was silent for a moment, eyeing Sora and Riku.

- I'm sorry Sora. I was wrong. I shouldn't have. You of course heard our conversation, right? I'm sorry. I won't do it again.

Sora blinked a few times, confused. He didn't think Axel would say... well, anything like that.

- It's okay. Thank you. But... Do you love Roxas? Sora then asked, worrying about his little brother.

- ....... Yes. Yes, I do.

- Then go upstairs and tell him that, Sora demanded.

Axel followed the order.

As soon as Axel had vanished upstairs Riku began kissing Sora's neck ( he was currrently hugging him from the back ) .

- I'm so sorry you had to listen to that, Riku murmured in Sora's ear.

- Yeah... But I heard you say that you love me, so I don't really mind....

Upstairs

Axel was sitting outside Roxas' door, listening to the barely audible breathing of the sleeping boy.

At least everyone thought he was sleeping.

The truth was he was awake and knew what Sora, Riku and Axel had been talking about. He had heard it all. He struggled to fight against the tears, for he didn't want Axel to know he had heard.

He knew Axel had said he loved him. And he knew that while Axel was sitting there on the other side of his door, Axel was smiling.

That made him happy in a way.

You, who I loved too much are on the other side of the wall....

But he was still sad. So sad. Why did Axel still love Riku? It made him feel so miserable. Like he was nothing.

He just hoped Axel would forget those feelings for Riku.

Turn, turn...

He just hoped he would be the only one for Axel.

And then where there became a small moment, when Roxas forgot fight back the tears, when he had heard Axel sigh, they came flooding.

His breath became unsteady.

hah-hahaha-haah.... He tightly shut his eyes.

- Rox.....? Axel called.

Roxas panicked as he noticed the wetness on his cheeks as Axel called him.

He tried to breath normally, suceeding and then wiped away his tears.

He stood up and went to the door, finding Axel standing in front of him, looking sad.

- What is it? Roxas asked quietly.

- I love you.

Something in Roxas' chest felt warm.
